Rick Springfield earns high praise for his jaw-dropping physique at 77

Rick Springfield has taken social media by storm due to his amazing physique.

A few days after his 77th birthday on August 23, a video of the Jessie’s Girl singer performing shirtless in Tennessee went viral on social media.

“77 years old and still bringing the energy like it’s 1981,” a social media user penned in a caption of Rick's clip. “UNBELIEVABLE!”

Commenters responded quickly to a post, with one writing, “He looks great for 77.”

“Looking fabulous," added another one.

During his performance in Gatlinburg, the crooner was joined on stage by his wife, Barbara, whom he tied the knot in 1984.

The Don't Talk To Strangers hitmaker asked the audience, “Anybody know how old I am?”

Rick then revealed that he was turning 77.

Recently, in an interview with local Idaho news station KIFI, the Grammy-winning singer revealed how she maintains his youthful look.

"I work out every day," he told the outlet. "I eat well, I love what I do and, as Clint Eastwood said, 'Don't let the old man in.'"

Ahead of his 75th birthday, Rick told People magazine that he usually opts for pie over birthday cake.

“I don’t like birthday cakes,” he said “I like apple pie, so my wife usually makes apple pie and sticks some candles on it. I don’t know how you can fit 75 candles on an apple pie, so maybe we’ll do the number 75.”
