Ke Huy Quan reveals light at the end of the tunnel in new memoir

Ke Huy Quan was just a child when he tasted fame — starring next to Harrison Ford in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doomwhile also featured inThe Goonies.

He was cast in these roles at under 15.

Yet, the childhood success proved non-lasting, as the actor reveals in his upcoming memoir Never Say Die.

Despite the roles not coming his way, Quan said he didn't give up and instead worked behind the camera.

He eventually found success with Everything Everywhere All at Once.

That's one reason the actor said he penned his memoir: to tell people that dreams have no expiry date.

“One of the reasons why I wanted to write this memoir is that I think a lot of people have dreams that they feel they have missed a chance at,” he told People.

“And I hope that my story reminds them that the path is not always straight. And sometimes the things that they love will find their way back to them.”

Quan noted, “So hopefully people will like it. I’m very excited and also very nervous at the same time because writing this book was really difficult."

'It’s not something that I’m comfortable with, but hopefully the readers know it," he said.
