Jamie Foxx calls daughter Corinne saviour of his life

Jamie Foxx recently gushed over his daughter, Corinne Foxx, for saving his life.

The 58-year-old American actor and comedian, along with his eldest daughter, Corinne, appeared on the Tuesday, August 25 episode of the Baby, This Is Keke Palmer podcast.

While touching on different topics, Foxx reflected on his health problem he faced in 2023, revealing that he had a near-death experience as he suffered a stroke.

He told the host that the doctor treating him appreciated his 33-year-old daughter’s crucial role in his survival.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 star said, “I wanted to know his version. He says, ‘Hey man, without her you wouldn’t be here.’”

Foxx admitted that he compared his daughter’s response to the crisis to Michael Corleone stepping in to protect his father in The Godfather after he learned that he had been shot.

“That’s who she was,” he remarked, adding that his doctor also sang praises of how Corinne dealt with the situation.

“He says, ‘Man, your daughter saved your life.’ He talked about Corinne. She saved you. He said, ‘She’s the reason that you’re here,’” the Back in Action actor remembered.

It is pertinent to mention that Jamie Foxx, who has never been married, welcomed Corinne in 1994, with ex-Connie Kline. He became the father of a second daughter, Anelise Bishop, seventeen years later, whom he shares with his ex-Kristin Grannis, and now he is expecting his third child with his current girlfriend Alyce Huckstepp.
