Sarah Ferguson possibly renting UK home after months away
Sarah Ferguson is reportedly returning to the UK after spending time away after ongoing controversy tied to her connection with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Reports say Ferguson, 66, is renting a large six-bedroom property in the countryside as she prepares to return to public life. Her move comes shortly after Prince Harry and his family also relocated back to the UK this week after living in the US for several years.
Ferguson was previously required to leave her longtime residence at Royal Lodge earlier this year, alongside her ex-husband, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, and has reportedly not been in the UK for several months.
A source close to the situation suggested Ferguson had been planning her return for some time, adding that she may have hoped the recent attention on Prince Harry and Meghan would allow her own return to attract less public notice.
Ferguson was stripped of her Duchess of York title last year amid growing scrutiny related to Epstein-related allegations. She has kept a relatively low public profile since then, occasionally being spotted at private locations abroad.
Andrew, who was also stripped of his royal titles, remains under police investigation regarding his past associations with Epstein. He has denied any wrongdoing.
