Sarah Trott says ‘i do’ in a ‘romantic Italian’ wedding
Sarah Trott tied the knot with Grant Fisher on August 25, in Ravello Italy.
Speaking with People Magazine, Sarah reflected on her dreamy destination wedding and described the place, saying,“Ravello is a hidden gem on the Amalfi Coast and one of the few places in the world where it looks better in real life than Instagram. You look around, and say, ‘How is this place real?’ ”
She went on to say, “Grant and I took the things we love most about travel and hospitality and bundled them together for the most perfect week.”
“The aesthetic was timeless, romantic Italian summer,” Sarah remarked.
As the newlyweds preferred to have an intimate celebration, the former Bachelor contestant further said, “It was tough to keep it so small, but we wanted our wedding to feel less like a huge production and more like everyone we love escaping to Italy with us for a few days.”
Moreover, she revealed that the celebration was not rushed at all; rather it was a week-long experience, “We wanted to slow things down with a week full of events, maximizing the uniqueness of the many different venues within the venue of Villa Cimbrone.”
“It was a week of highly curated events,” the reality TV star revealed.
As “It’s a summertime celebration after all!” Sarah shared that everybody wore “Amalfi summer-inspired attire.”
Adding, “We wanted this to feel elevated yet comfortable and warm, not stuffy or uptight.”
Looking back at the wedding’s emotional ambience, the Bachelor alum said, “It’s hard not to get emotional when you’re surrounded by such beauty and history alongside your closest family and friends.”
Speaking about the couple’s dear friend Joe and his wife, Amanda, and how they received pre-marital mentorship from them. The bride said, “We randomly got connected with Joe and his wife, Amanda, and it was an instant connection.”
“The program was truly transformational for our relationship, we covered topics on everything from family dynamics, expectations, intimacy, finances, how we give and receive love… Nothing was left on the table. After that, Grant and I truly felt so prepared entering marriage. Faith played a huge role in our relationship and got us to where we are today. Our biggest piece of advice to couples would be completing a course like that. It’s so special and important,” she shared further.
