King Charles grandchildren Archie and Lilibet are reportedly arriving back in Britain with their parents Meghan Markle and Prince Harry today.

The California-based royal couple, who stepped down as senior royals in 2020, are expected to land in the UK after flying privately from California to start their new life in the country, the BBC News has reported.

Meghan and Harry are returning to UK with their kids a month after they took Archie and Lilibet to see their grandfather King Charles for the first time in four years at his Highgrove home in July.

Earlier, in a statement shared with The New York Times, the spokesperson for Meghan and Harry had said, "On the heels of a wonderful trip with family and friends this summer, Harry and Meghan have decided to spend an extended period in the U.K. this autumn.

“They are excited to have their children spend more time in the country that’s such an important part of their family’s story."

However, the spokesperson confirmed that their businesses will remain unchanged and based in the US, and Meghan and Harry will also keep their home in California.

Meanwhile, a source close to Meghan and Harry tells People, “Step by step, they want to be in the U.K.,” adding, “They want to have the time and give the kids the opportunity to be here.”
