Prince Harry, Meghan Markle 'returning in shame'

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are said to be returning to Britain ‘in shame’ after six years, it has been claimed.

The royal insiders have told the New Idea that there is no denying that Harry and Meghan are ‘returning in shame.’

The sources said there are a number of reasons for Meghan and Harry’s moving to Britain, but one of the main ones is that Harry especially knows that their US adventure has “ended in abject failure.”

The insiders said, “Their big-money projects, like the deals with Netflix and Spotify, have ended and no-one is beating down the door to work with them. He knows they’ve burned bridges.”

“All the finer details are being figured out right now,” the spy said and adds “But no matter what kind of gloss is put on this, there’s no denying that Harry and Meghan are returning in shame.”

However, they are reportedly hoping to have the best of both worlds as “private royals-plus” when they move back to the UK.

Whatever the reason of their return to Britain is, the insiders have said King Charles is ‘excited’ and expects the rest of the family, including Prince William and Kate Middleton, to fall in line. “They’ve hosted some of the most controversial figures in history; they can handle Harry and his wife.”

But, the Prince and Princess of Wales are ‘probably the ones most surprised by this’, and apparently their teams have been in strategy talks all week.

“They both have no choice but to hope for the best and plan for the worst, Thankfully this is on their turf and Kate has built up an incredibly loyal circle.”
