King Charles celebrates Ukraine’s Independence Day on year 4 of Russia war

On the day of Ukraine’s Independence, in the throws of a war with Russia, King Charles and Queen Camilla issued a celebratory nod highlighting their sovereignty.

The entire thing comes straight from the ukinukraine Facebook page.

In it was an image message that reads, “Both my wife and I are so pleased to be able to extend to you and to the people of Ukraine our heartfelt congratulations on the occasion of your Independence Day."

"As we reflect upon Ukraine’s proud history, rich culture, and indomitable national spirit, we are reminded of the extraordinary fortitude Ukrainians have shown in defending their homeland and preserving the identity and values which define your nation. Such steadfast determination continues to command profound admiration throughout the United Kingdom and around the world."
