Jenna Bush Hager delivers savage blow to Prince Harry, Meghan Markle after their UK return plans

Jenna Bush Hager has strongly criticized Prince Harry and Meghan Markle after they announced their return to the United Kingdom.

For those unaware, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced taking a step back as senior members of the British royal family on January 8, 2020, and officially stepped down from their respective roles on March 31, 2020.

They have been living in the United States for six years; however, they have decided to return to Britain for an extended period with their children, Prince Archie Harrison, seven, and Princess Lilibet Diana, five.

As Prince Harry and Meghan’s decision has started a debate online, Hager shared her unfiltered take on Today with Jenna & Sheinelle, saying, "It's a lesson for everybody.”

“When you leave something and say you're never going back… [don't] light a match,” the daughter of George W. Bush stated.

Calling to mind the circumstances when Harry and Meghan left for the United States, Sheinelle went on to joke that their attitude at that time was "we're out. Hello, US."

"They sort of threw whatever at the institutions that exist in the UK. It's hard to say things like that and then be like, 'Well…'" Jenna Bush Hagger quipped.
