Serene Williams melts hearts with new snap with daughter after major defeat
The athlete made a return to Tennis court back in June after four-year break
Serene William is declaring where her comfort place exists, and it's in her daughter Olympia's warm embrace.
The 44-year-old tennis player took to her Instagram account on Thursday to share an intimate moment with her eight-year-old daughter following her major comeback to Tennis after a four-year hiatus.
Expressing her love for her daughter, the doting mom tightly hugged her daughter on a tennis court.
Serene can be seen wearing a lavender sweatshirt and pants with a high-raised ponytail, apparently after her practice.
While the eighth-year-old donned a pink tracksuit with her jacket wrapped around her waist.
"Sometimes all I need is her hug," the professional American Tennis player wrote in the caption.
Serena's post came after her exit from the Cincinnati Open following a first-round doubles defeat. Her sister Venus Williams teamed up with her for the competition.
It is pertinent to mention that Serena shares Olympia and Adira, three, with her husband Alexis Ohanian.
The mom of two previously gushed over Olympia for being an incredible older sister.
"Olympia is so sweet," she said on Today with Jenna and Sheinelle. "She's the best big sister! And then the little one, Adira, she's feisty, but she's nice."
