Prince Harry revealed his UK plans nearly a year ago

Prince Harry is said to be returning to Britain with Meghan Markle and their children.

As the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expected to move back to the UK later this month, their plans may have been hinted at nearly a year before the family's relocation.

During his conversation with singer Joss Stone at the WellChild Awards in September 2025, Harry may have offered a glimpse into his thinking.

Now, Joss returned to Britain with her family after spending years living in the United States, she revealed that Harry was genuinely interested in her decision, as per Hello! Magazine.

According to Joss, Harry spoke positively about British schools and the importance of community for children. At the time, the conversation appeared to be little more than a friendly exchange.

She revealed, "He also asked about how we were settling back in and was genuinely interested in our move home. He’s just very warm and down to earth, as always. Maybe Harry will move back too. That would be nice."

"He was saying how wonderful the schools are here and how important community is for children," Joss Stone, the mother of four kids added.

She said, "It was nice to share that with him because it’s exactly why we felt drawn to come back — for the kids to grow up surrounded by family, friends and a strong sense of belonging and, most importantly, in a safe environment."

It is pertinent to mention that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are said to be establishing a private, non-royal home base outside London and their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet are expected to begin school in Britain in September.
