Noel Gallagher refuses to 'go back with tension' ahead of Oasis documentary release

Liam Gallagher can be seen placing a kiss on his elder brother Noel Gallagher in a new trailer for the band's Disney+ documentary.

For those unaware, the highly-anticipated documentary Oasis: Don’t Look Back in Anger is scheduled to be released on September 11, 2026, under the banner of Disney.

In the trailer, both English musicians can be seen sharing a sweet moment together on stage after their bitter separation in 2009.

Liam said in the clip, “The way it finished, unacceptable. It didn't sit right with me, man.” While Noel added, “I just don't see myself on stage with Liam. I don't really want to be going back with the tension; will it fall apart again?’”

Then the camera rolls to a priest as he preached about forgiveness, and Noel is heard, admitting that the Oasis reunion is “one of the biggest moments of their lives.”

“I feel like I'm exorcising demons getting it all out. Rage. Just pure anger... I need to calm the f*** down,” Liam claimed. Alluding to their feud, both brothers stated “s***** they didn’t mean” to hurt one another in the past.

It is pertinent to mention that Liam and Noel Gallagher’s bitter 16-year estrangement turned into a physical fight at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris, which led to a smashed guitar and Noel’s exit from the band Oasis on August 28, 2009.
