Taylor Swift's wedding band holds a romantic secret, experts reveal

Now that Taylor Swift's wedding band has finally been revealed during her appearance at her musical collaborator's wedding last week, jewelry experts are shedding light on the intricate design the pop star opted for

It is a diamond-engraved yellow gold band she wore before her Kindred Lubeck-designed engagement ring.

“An eternity band has always carried this beautiful symbolism of continuity and enduring love,” jewelry designer Logan Hollowell told Page Six.

As Taylor's ring is a "half eternity band," which appears to be "more practical" for Taylor, keeping her musical career in mind, with the diamonds engraved halfway, she can easily carry on playing her musical instruments, like guitar and piano.

Logan continued, "It can protect the stones from some of the impact and friction that naturally happens underneath the finger."

And the "contoured band" with the engagement ring’s design tells "a story rather than simply sitting beside it."

“There is something incredibly romantic about it. The wedding band is shaped specifically to meet another ring,” said Logan.

“Taylor is known for weaving symbolism and sentimentality into everything she does," and as Travis Kelce's wedding band is also made of yellow gold and appears to be engraved the same as his wife's engagement ring, "it would make sense for both wedding bands to continue that story," the Clear Cut founder, Olivia Landau, told the outlet.

Moreover, Taylor's choice for a curved wedding band may spark a trend, as Brilliant Earth‘s SVP of Merchandising & Design, Annie Chen, claimed, “We may start seeing customers request that shape."

All in all, “Taylor and Travis’ bands feel very much in line with that movement: complementary rather than matching, timeless but highly personal, and designed to tell a story beyond what you can immediately see," Landau remarked.
