Prince Harry’s making secret pleas to Meghan: ‘These opportunities don’t come along often’

Behind the scenes, Prince Harry is fighting tooth and nail to ensure his reconciliation efforts with King Charles do not derail and its just come out that Meghan Markle might not be as enthusiastic as once thought for it.

For those unversed, the reason for her possible apprehension has less to do with family inclinations and more to do with financial responsibilities and stressors because earlier reports warned they are spending faster than they are bringing in.

However, what’s pertinent to mention is that while Meghan has long since taken up the mantle of earning the family money, reporters have pointed out Prince Harry’s preference for royal adjacent appearances and work. On the side his second-most priority is said to be his reconciliation bid with his cancer-stricken father.

Now with a rumored invite to Balmoral seemingly hanging by a thread, its said he is doing everything in his power to ensure Meghan comes with him over the summer.

But a well placed source says, “she’s just trying to keep their heads above water financially, and as great as it is that this trip to the UK might generate goodwill, it’s not going to generate cash.”

But where Harry’s concerned, “he stood very strong on her behalf and demanded plenty of concessions from the Palace and the royal team, and they’ve been very generous, so in his view she ought to be gracious and reward that show of good faith by showing up and standing by his side,” the source added at one point.

What’s more, they also added how nerve wracking a solo Balmoral summer might look because as they put it, “he must be dreading going over there on his own and, once again, having everybody asking him, ‘Where’s Meghan?’ It doesn’t feel like it’s too much to ask her to come stand by his side, even if it’s not something she wants, just for his sake.”

Near the end the insider turned towards explaining the Duke’s point of view and said, “he knows just how much it meant to his father to see the children at Highgrove back in July. He doesn’t see why they should wait until Christmas for the next family visit, especially since there’s a very real chance they may not make it over there for the holidays.”

What’s worse “these opportunities with his father don’t come along very often, so there’s a real danger of getting people’s backs up if Meghan doesn’t come.”

They also highlighted the great ‘honor’ an invite itself even is, given their history and the biggest motivator is the fact that “one of the key things that’s going to persuade his dad that they can be trusted again is to follow protocol and show proper respect to the institution and to him.”

Before signing off they added, “Harry senses that either of them is hesitant about accepting this invitation, it will get withdrawn the way it did the last time – he doesn't want to risk that happening again.”
