Jacob Batalon recently got honest about his years-long friendship with Spider-Man co-stars Zendaya and Tom Holland.

Celebrating his partnership with Samsung after the blockbuster release of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the 29-year-old American actor opened up about his time with Zendaya and Holland in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Batalon, who first worked with them in Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017), was asked to reveal how it feels to witness the success of Zendaya and Holland; he answered, “Really great.”

“I’ve known them for a long time. Just knowing them as people, they’ve really worked hard for what they have, and they’re gracious. [They’re] just truly the most professional people ever. I’m really, really happy I can call them my family,” he explained.

For those unaware, Batalon, who has played the role of Peter Parker’s loyal, hilarious and tech-savvy best friend Ned Leeds in Spider-Man: Far from Home and Spider-Man: No Way Home, stated that he is extremely excited about his return in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

The Tarot star admitted, “It’s beautiful. A lot of my journey in the industry really started because of Spider-Man, obviously. I’ve been very lucky and fortunate throughout those 10 years to really create and grow and be a part of really special things.”

“Not just Spider-Man, but in my own career. And to really give fans things that they deserve and that they love. It’s been truly a blessing,” Batalon noted.

It is pertinent to mention that Spider-Man: Brand New Day hit theatres on July 31, 2026.
