King Charles and Prince William have also been warned about the key danger for British monarchy
Princess of Wales Kate Middleton is reportedly concerned about her husband Prince William's relationship with his father King Charles.
The Cheat Sheet, citing the royal insiders, has claimed that the Prince of Wales relationship with King Charles has been growing more distant.
The growing gulf between the father and son could become so large that it threatens the future of the monarchy, some worry.
Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams has also warned King Charles and Prince William about the key danger the British monarchy could face in the upcoming years.
He tells the Daily Mail, "The most disastrous thing that could happen to the monarchy would be a falling out between King Charles and Prince William, who together with his family, is its future."
Amid these claims, the outlet reported Kate is doing her best to repair the damage before it becomes an even bigger issue.
The insiders told the Closer Weekly, “Kate knows William only wants what’s best for the monarchy, but the problem is he and Charles have very different views on how to get there.”
Royal expert Hugo Vickers recently claimed, “The problem with William is that he thinks he knows best.”
The palace source said, “[Kate is] worried now people inside the palace are starting to notice how at odds they are, and her fear is that it won’t be long before the public finds out.
“That’s certainly not the message she wants the monarchy to be sending. She just wants him to step back and see the bigger picture before the damage becomes much harder to undo.”
