Kaylee Hottle, young deaf star of 'Godzilla vs. Kong,' dies in tragic car crash

Kayle Hottle, best-known for Godzilla vs. Kong and Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, has died.

She was 18.

The young star's father, Joshua Hottle, reportedly confirmed the shocking news in a Facebook livestream using ASL or American Sign Language.

Hottle herself was deaf; in fact, she came from an all-deaf family.

Additional details appeared in a TMZ report, which claimed she met a tragic car accident in Maryland on Tuesday.

Hottle was shot to stardom after starring as Jia in the MonsterVerse franchise, where she struck a yearning bond with the giant ape with the help of sign language.

The late star's emotional performance led the deaf community to celebrate what they described as an authentic representation of deaf people on-screen.
