The Facebook platform, owned by Meta, links users all over the world via posts, Groups, Marketplace, and News Feed services; therefore, any disruption is felt very quickly.

For now, there has been no official comment from Meta regarding a more general Facebook outage issue, nor have independent status sites reported a general problem.
