Savannah Guthrie leaves fans, friends emotional with latest tearful plea

US TV host Savannah Guthrie has left her Today show fans and friends emotional with tearful plea she made for help in finding her mother Nancy, who was abducted in February.

Savannah made the emotional plea on the Today show after new information revealed a second note suggesting Nancy Guthrie may have died, but no suspects have been named.

The Today, in a joint post with Savannah, shared the video clip on Instagram.

The video was posted with caption, "We need your help. ... We love our mom. We will never stop looking for her. Ever."

The latest plea by Savannah has also left her fans and friends emotional with one commenting “She’s made of steel. To do all that she’s does daily under these circumstances… we love you SG. Praying for your family and the return of your mother.”

Another commented, “I don’t know how you’re doing it Savannah! God bless you. Sending love, hugs and prayers.”

“Praying so hard for you and your family Savannah Guthrie. I can’t imagine the pain and suffering you all are going through and I wish so hard for you that someone will come forward. Someone does now something. You, your family, and your sweet Mom deserve peace. May God Bless you and keep you. Bring her home,” the third said.

Savannah's mom, Nancy Guthrie, disappeared overnight on January 31. The Guthrie family has offered a $1 million reward for her return.

The FBI has also offered a $100,000 reward.
