James Van Der Beek's widow also opens up about her struggle with the loss of her husband
On Father's Day, Kimberly – widow of James Van Der Beek – is giving the late actor a heartfelt tribute.
In a post on Instagram, she weighed in on her grief while admitting she is still struggling over the loss.
In addition, Kimberly shared several touching throwback photos of the family of eight.
“Missing you so much and thinking of how magnificent you were in every single way today."
“And somehow, from the other side? You continue to parent. You’re a marvel," she shared.
The heartbreaking post comes months after the Dawson's Creek actor's passing.
Similarly, Kimberly previously candidly opened up about the grief of losing Beek.
“To say I’m heartbroken is a severe understatement. Words just don’t capture what grief is,” she said last month.
But despite Beek's death, Kimberly said she still feels his presence.
"I feel him. I know him more deeply. My conscious connection to God has deepened."
"The veils of the universe have thinned. And I trust that this is the path my family and I have always been intended to walk."
"The outpouring of support has been tremendous. It’s held our family in the most beautiful of ways," she concluded.
