Inside the DOJ’s refusal to release old Epstein emails involving Trump

The Department of Justice reportedly announced that it is releasing all documents required under the Epstein Files Transparency Act.

But the agency previously clarified that it collected more than six million pages of material during its investigation into Jeffrey Epstein.

In line with DOJ claims, the remaining three million pages are either duplicates or protected by legal privilege.

Critics remain concerned that key information is still being hidden due to the administration’s lack of transparency regarding Jeffrey Epstein. Notably, emails in the released files were mainly from an email account created in 2008.

On the other hand, Epstein had older email addresses that were mentioned in only a few heavily censored, publicly released files.

According to a CBS analysis, the available files help to identify which documents appear to be missing. The analysis further found a number of predominant exclusions. Emails include old accounts and the absence of key records after 2009.

It is worth mentioning here that Trump has consistently maintained that he is innocent of all charges when it comes to his connection with Epstein.
