"Meghan also remembers ‘feeling embraced’ by Britain, and she believes that connection can be rebuilt"
Meghan Markle has apparently launched ‘Operation Meghan’ ahead of UK return with her husband Prince Harry and their children Archie and Lilibet next month.
Royal expert Rob Shuter, citing the insiders, has claimed that Duchess of Sussex sees her upcoming return to Britain with her family as the first step in a long-term strategy to rebuild her relationship with the British public.
The close insiders tell the expert, “This is the start of what friends jokingly call ‘Operation Meghan,’”, adding, “The family trip isn’t just a visit—it’s the beginning of a carefully considered effort to reconnect.”
The sources went on saying Meghan remembers ‘feeling embraced’ by Britain, and she believes that connection can be rebuilt, but it starts with showing up.”
The royal expert made these claims after reports Harry and his wife Meghan will visit the UK next month with their two children, their first family trip back to the country since 2022.
Meghan and Harry last visited Britain with their children for the Platinum Jubilee celebrations for then Queen Elizabeth II in June 2022, just a few months before her death in September that year.
Moreover, the Daily Mail has reported King Charles wants reconciliation with Harry and will set aside time for him, Meghan, Archie and Lilibet.
The monarch would likely want to keep any reunion private - and meet on a royal property - if the family do all visit the UK together in mid-July.
