Mick Jagger hints at plans for Rolling Stones tour

Mick Jagger has suggested that The Rolling Stones could return to touring in 2027.

The 82-year-old singer recently revealed that he is eager to get back on stage with bandmates Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood.

"I'd love to. I really want to. And I'm ready to go," he told TODAY's Sunday Sitdown.Jagger said the band is unlikely to perform live this year but hopes to do shows next year.

The comments come as the band prepares to release its new album, Foreign Tongues, on July 10.

Jagger said the album includes a mix of different musical styles and that the band hopes there is something for every listener.

The new record follows the success of Hackney Diamonds, which was released in 2023 and won a Grammy Award.

Foreign Tongues will feature collaborations with Paul McCartney, Robert Smith and Chad Smith.

Keith Richards also recently spoke about touring and said the band could consider it next year, although no plans have been confirmed.

The Rolling Stones have been in the picture for more than 60 years since the band formed, continuing to record music and perform around the world.

Jagger said staying physically fit is essential for performing in his eighties and requires discipline and hard work.
