'Big Little Lies' creator David E. Kelley shares major update about third season
David E. Kelley has apprised ardent fans of the latest update regarding the third season of Big Little Lies.
On April 8, Kelly attended the New York premiere of his forthcoming comedy drama Margo's Got Money Troubles, where PEOPLE magazine chatted with him.
As the conversation progressed, the outlet asked him about his plans for another season of Big Little Lies, to which he said, “We're getting the band back together, and it should be a good run again.”
When he was requested to share more details about fans’ favourite series, the legendary television producer said he is bound not to share anything else.
For those unaware, Big Little Lies, which debuted with seven episodes in 2017 and dropped the sophomore season in 2019, shows “the apparently-perfect lives of upper-class mothers of students at a prestigious elementary school unravel to the point of murder when a single mother moves to their quaint California beach town.”
The psychological dark comedy drama, based on Liane Moriarty’s 2014 novel, had an ensemble cast including the following:
It is pertinent to mention that Kelly’s statement comes after his talk with the same outlet last year when he stated that the show’s cast “is very committed to it” and they were still “under contract.”
