Billy Ray Cyrus has finally dropped a new song, On Our Way Along, from his forthcoming album, The Hill.
The 64-year-old actor-singer joined forces with his children on his heartfelt track. Son Braison Cyrus co-wrote and co-produced the tune, while daughter Noah Cyrus sang with him.
In the new song, the father-daughter duo sings about the family’s Nashville home “where the sun rises on the hill."
“It’s all about this hill, and realizing that my whole life unfolded on this hill, and the magic of this place here,” Billy told American Songwriter magazine on Thursday. “It’s all come full circle."
The two-time Grammy winner described the new track as a “celebration of all things music and family” that was “made from the heart for the heart."
In the same press release, Noah talked about teaming up with her father and brother, saying, "I'm really proud to be teaming up with my dad and my brother Braison (our producer) for this song."
"Braison’s produced a beautiful album and I'm happy to be just a small part of it and our father’s legacy," she added.
For those unversed, On Our Way Along is the first single from Billy's forthcoming album, The Hill.
The full album is scheduled for release on June 16.
