Malcolm McRae celebrates marriage milestone with Anya Taylor-Joy: 'You’re better than me except in thumb wars'

Anya Taylor-Joy and Malcolm McRae are celebrating four years of marriage with a personal tribute from the husband.

The couple, who quietly wed in New Orleans in 2022, kept their relationship largely under wraps in the early years. Four years later, McRae posted a series of photos and a short video on April 2, together with a message about trying to match Taylor-Joy’s love.

He concluded by joking his only advantage is winning “thumb wars”.

Among the photos were moments of the pair spending time together, or holding hands beside a dog or sharing a kiss during a boat ride through a cave. One photo also captured a relaxed moment of the two trying on hats.

Friends and fellow celebrities, including Nina Dobrev and Jay Shetty, were left in awe. Several celebrities reached out to congratulate the married couple.

Taylor-Joy and McRae also have had a second wedding before in September 2023, holding the celebration in Venice. However, they only publicly acknowledged their marriage after marking their second anniversary in 2024.
