Chuck Norris family breaks silence on misleading reports about actor's death

Chuck Norris' family is giving fans a warning about fake and AI-generated stories circulating on the internet about the action film star's death.

The late actors familt release a statement on the official Instagram account of Norris, alerting people about information in video format or social media posts on the internet containing misleading and false information about the actor's passing, and his health history.

The family insisted that people not believe or share any report "unless it comes directly from the Norris family or an official family representative."

It is pertinent to mention that Norris passed away on March 20. He was 86.

The statement read, "We are aware that since Chuck's passing, there have been a number of Al-generated videos and posts circulating online that contain false and misleading information regarding the circumstances of his passing, his health history, and who was present."

"These claims are entirely untrue. This includes fabricated reports of past medical issues, as well as false narratives surrounding family relationships."

Norris’ family requested, "We kindly ask that you do not believe or share any information unless it comes directly from the Norris family or an official family representative."

"Thank you for your understanding and for continuing to keep our family in your thoughts and prayers," they concluded, adding, "The Norris Family."
