Simone surprised her fans as she dropped teaser for her first-ever song.

The singer enters her pop-star era with the announcement of her first single coming out in April.

On Instagram, Simone, famously known for her role of Kate Sharma in Bridgerton series, released a teaser video filmed in the recording studio. The video offered glimpse of her singing voice for the first time.

In the caption, she simply wrote, "Here we go…" along with the release date of track: 10th April.

Fans and fellow celebrities expressed their excitement in the comments section with one saying, "Can't Wait!!"

Another comment read, "WE’VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS OMG."

"So excited for you can’t wait to hear," the third user stated.

On the other hand, users on X (Formerly Twitter) also expressed their excitement about Simone's music venture.

One user wrote, "Pop star Simone Ashley was not on my 2026 bingo card but I'm seated and sat."

Meanwhile, another added, "My headphones and speakers are ready."

It is pertinent to mention that Simone Ashley previously hinted at her passion for singing late last year. She revealed at the time that the project had been close to her heart for more than three years.

"This body of work has been close to my heart over the past three years. And I am thrilled that I will be sharing it with you," the Devil Wears Prada 2 actress previously said.

Notably, the title and other details of the track have not been unveiled yet.
