King Charles has apparently reacted to Prince Harry’s olive branch with a meaningful message amid his ongoing rift.
The Duke has expressed hope that King Charles will extend an invitation for him to bring Meghan Markle and their two children Archie and Lilibet to Sandringham this summer.
Prince Harry’s friend said if the Duke was invited by the King, he would get a package of security that automatically kicks in.
“He'd like an invite to Sandringham.”
“Would he go? It would depend who was there. If the King was to say, 'Come up and spend some time with the family', he'd love that."
The insider went on saying, "There is not a world in which he brings the kids back unless there is an enhanced security package around them."
The royal experts have dubbed Prince Harry’s wishes as an olive branch to King Charles through his friends.
The monarch has apparently also reacted to Prince Harry’s olive branch via his friend.
King Charles friend tells the Daily Mail: "If Harry truly wishes to see his father, he would do well to encourage his supporters to allow such matters to be discussed privately, since low trust and bitter experience in this regard remains one of the principal barriers to progress."
The source close to King Charles has also indicated that the monarch will not intervene in the security process, viewing such involvement as constitutionally inappropriate.
