Angela Levin, a royal expert and major critic of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, has reacted to the Duke’s hopes that King will invite his family to Sandringham this summer.
According to a report by the Sunday Times, a friend of Prince Harry has said: “If he was invited by the King, he would get a package of security that automatically kicks in. He’d like an invite to Sandringham. Would he go? It would depend who was there. If the King was to say, ‘Come up and spend some time with the family’, he’d love that.”
It will be more than four years since Meghan and Harry’s kids Prince Archie, and Princess Lilibet, saw their grandfather King Charles.
Prince Harry and King Charles held meeting in September last year, and following this a source close to the Duke had said: “He always loves seeing his father and would love to see him as much as possible.”
Reacting to these reports, Angela tweeted, “If Prince Harry really wanted to spend time with his father he wouldn't leak it to the papers. He's playing emotional blackmail hoping the King will look bad so he can look good with his children.”
She continued, “He couldn't care a jot that his behaviour would increase his illness. Just as he did with the Queen and Prince Philip when they were dying.”
