There’s a lot going on behind closed doors in respect to Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s former home in Royal Lodge and finally an update has come forward after many weeks.
For those unversed the disgraced has been moved into Marsh Farm for many weeks now, but his items, curated since his marriage or potentially before then, have remained at the 30-bedroom property awaiting transfer. However, it seems the ex-Duke has not been back there since the initial transfer.
In terms of the news, it’s been shared by a well placed source who just sat down with The Mirror. According to their findings, “Andrew was told everything has to be out and absolutely nothing was to be left behind.”
They’ve also said that right now “everything has to be out by the weekend and we’ve been told no trace of the former occupants or staff should remain.” All in all the estate is like a ‘ghost town’ as “so many staff have left and it’s now pretty much empty.”
“Who knows when it will be done up as lots of building work is needed to bring it up to its former glory, like when the Queen Mother was in residence,” they also added as a little insider information before signing off.
