Following the release of royal author Tom Bower’s new book book, there was a pretty huge allegation that followed. One that has come in response to excerpts from his new book serialized by The Times.
The book that it not out yet, Betrayal: Power, Deceit and the Fight for the Future, claims the friction between the royals was worse than it appears.
The Times’ piece also includes allegations from the former Invictus Foundation head Dominic Reid, whose gone as far as to allege that the games, in recent years have gone from highlighting the sport and competitors to “the Harry and Meghan show.”
However, the couple’s representative has issued a reaction that reads, “It is disappointing to see The Times give prominence to commentary that appears driven by a long-established agenda rather than a genuine understanding of the Invictus Games and the community it supports.”
This is not the only allegation that came via the book because another included Queen Camilla and her allegedly having told a pal that Prince Harry had become “brainwashed” at the hands of his wife Meghan.
This saw a separate reaction from the same spokesperson and it reads, “Mr Bower's commentary has long crossed the line from criticism into fixation. This is someone who has publicly stated, 'the monarchy in fact depends on actually obliterating the Sussexes from our state of life,' language that speaks for itself.”
“He has made a career out of constructing ever more elaborate theories about people he does not know and has never met. Those interested in facts will look elsewhere; those seeking deranged conspiracy and melodrama know exactly where to find him.”
