Ryan Gosling gave a sweet shout-out to his longtime partner Eva Mendes in a new witty ad.
Gosling promoted his new film, ProjectHail Mary, with a Jeopardy!-themed advertisement which saw him play a contestant.
The ad was uploaded by a YouTube account titled Ryan Gosling Plays Final Jeopardy and saw the actor play Final Jeopardy in which he and two other "contestants" answered the prompt: "This specific type of injury has made news at least since 1967 when it happened to Red Sox star Jim Longborg."
Gosling struggles to answer the prompt, while another contestant writes ACL, which is short for anterior crucate ligament injury.
The Barbie star wrote, "What is IDK? I
"I'm told by our judges we will accept that," Jeopardy! host Ken Jennings said in response to Gosling's answer. "An ACL tear is also known as IDK - internal derangement of the knee. Well done, Ryan. What did you wager? Everything! You've doubled your score to $51,200! Ryan Gosling, congratulations! What a Hail Mary from our champion Ryan Gosling!"
Responding to the win, he said "wow," he said, while putting his hands on top of his head.
At the end of the ad, "Believe in the Hail Mary," in reference to Gosling's new science fiction movie, was written across the screen.
