The Royal Family has adapted a clever tactic to showcase their response to the Andrew Mountbatten Windsor problem.

King Charles and Prince William, who are carrying on their duties as usual, want to portray their faithfulness to the Crown, despite Andrew’s arrest last week.

Expert Phil Dampier said: "The days of 'Never complain, never explain,' have clearly gone. They can't just bury their heads in the sand and say we've got nothing to say about this. They're showing that The Firm is still working so Andrew is almost portrayed as one bad apple, so to speak."

Meanwhile, commentator Afua Acheampong-Hagan notes that Andrew is devastated by the circumstances: “I don't doubt that this has had a great effect on his mental health. I don't doubt that at all, but again, two things can be true at once: this can be affecting his mental health but he still has to be held accountable."

"Andrew is having difficulty acknowledging reality and it was increasingly causing concern at the Palace," a source told the Mail

The source reveals Andrew is upset as his plans for a state funeral are quashed.
