Prince Harry let slip real feelings amid 'incredibly personal' speech

Prince Harry’s emotional turmoil at the High Court this week gives away his growing worries, says an expert.

The Duke of Sussex, who shed tears during his testimony against Daily Mail’s publisher, feels incredibly hurt by the circumstances.

Expert Emily Ferguson writes for Express: “Tense, tetchy and teary describes Prince Harry’s two hours on the witness stand yesterday. It’s an incredibly personal court case for him, with his evidence coming to a dramatic end yesterday when he described the idea that he shouldn’t be entitled to z private life as ‘disgusting.’”

She added: “But the sheer emotion came when he spoke about the impact articles have had on the Duchess of Sussex, saying ANL have ‘made my wife's life an absolute misery.’ His lip wobbled, voice cracked as he recalled the toll the ‘thousands’ of articles have had on him and his family.”

She added: “Throughout his time on the stand his frustrations about the sheer number of articles about his private life threaten to boil over, with the judge having to interrupt Harry a couple of times to remind him that he needed to be simply answering the questions, not arguing his case.”

“He was clearly exasperated that he wasn’t being allowed to get his point across by opposing counsel,” she noted.
