Louis Tomlinson has talked candidly about his rare fear.
In a new chat with Billboard, the singer reflected on the fear of being labelled a “has-been” in his early twenties as One Direction began winding down.
He went on to admit that facing an uncertain future at just 24 was “really" "scary” when the chart-topping boy band headed toward its eventual split in 2015.
“That was really f***ing scary,” Tomlinson told the publication.
“I was never thinking, ‘I'll be in that group [of One Direction alumni] that succeeds,’” he said.
The Lemonade artist explained that he was acutely aware of how rarely all members of a band go on to thrive in the industry.
“History says there's not normally more than two,” he concluded.
