Emily Bader has opened up about her rationale behind opting for a rom- com.
As fans will be aware, the 29-year-old actress stars alongside Tom Blyth in the movie, People We Meet on Vacation.
During her latest chat with Us Weekly, Bader urged the need to bring back rom-com into pop culture.
She began by saying, “This genre means a lot to a lot of people. I think that we can ask something from all genres of film."
"And I think that the rom-com genre can be complex and have real character development and make you feel a lot of things,” she continued.
She further addressed that she hopes that her work reflects the magic of rom-coms.
“I hope that looking at the greats that we take so much inspiration from, that we can get anywhere near close to the feeling that I got as a kid watching those for the people watching this movie, then I'd be happy," she concluded.
