Motorola to launch Moto Razr FIFA World Cup 2026 edition

Motorola is preparing to launch a special FIFA World Cup 2026 edition of its Razr foldable smartphone on January 6, 2026, alongside the Motorola Signature flagship, formerly known as the Edge 70 Ultra.

The announcement comes from a teaser video posted on MotorolaUS on Friday, which showcased the World Cup 2026 logo on the phone’s rear panel.

The upcoming Motorola Razr FIFA World Cup edition is rumoured to carry the same features as the Motorola Razr 60. It is expected to come with 256GB of internal storage and 8GB of RAM and will be priced at $399, which will be applicable in the regions that will be announced.

The FIFA World Cup version will likely demonstrate the same specs, but Motorola may flaunt special edition shipments. The product will soon be available in all regions.

The Razr series of foldable gadgets has always been cherished for mixing a vintage flip design concept and a contemporary folding mechanism.

The FIFA edition is likely to appeal not only tech enthusiasts but also football followers who seek a unique collectible device. Special versions, such as this one, sometimes have customised wallpapers, fan-friendly apps, and UI modifications.

Since the FIFA edition will be launched before the event, Motorola gets to ride the FIFA World Cup wave of 2026.

The launch will introduce consumers to both the FIFA World Cup version of the Razr series, known as the FIFA World Cup Razr, and the Motorola Signature series, which is set to be the flagship device, possibly marking one of the busiest days ever for Motorola. However, there aren’t any hardware enhancements; it is likely to be very similar to the Razr 60, differing only by cosmetic design.
