Prince Harry and Meghan Markle recently announced they were rebranding their Archewell Foundation to Archewell Philanthropies after five ‘beautiful’ years.
They announced, “After five beautiful years, the Archewell Foundation is becoming Archewell Philanthropies. This charitable entity allows the couple and their children to expand upon their global philanthropic endeavors as a family.”
Days after Meghan and Harry’s announcement, speaking to the Radar Online, several top public relations gurus and crisis managers have shared a sweet advice for the royal couple.
Celebrity publicist and business strategist, Tracy Lamourie has said, "A rebrand alone won't do it; that won't rebuild the trust.
"If Meghan and Harry want Archewell Philanthropies to actually succeed after all the reports of operating losses and public questions around organizational spending, the best thing they can do for a quick perception turnaround and trust is a much tighter structure and a commitment to radical transparency."
Can the new venture work? The expert further said, "Yes, but only if they stop trying to avoid the story and instead build a new one that makes future scrutiny boring.
"Boring is trust in charitable work."
Chief Executive Office at a Digital Strategy Ltd, Brian Glicklich has disclosed there is "a hard way back, but a real one. It starts with authenticity."
He advised publicity-hungry Meghan and Harry need to drop their Hollywood pursuits and focus more seriously on charitable endeavors.
