Zara Tindall, Princess Anne’s daughter, beamed as she made a rare appearance next to her mother for special royal role after King Charles has made a firm decision about the family.

Anne and Zara had attended the World Horse Welfare Annual Conference in London on Friday afternoon as they ascertained their long-standing commitment to equine welfare.

The mother and daughter, who are both patrons of the charity, seemed to be in high spirits as they arrived at the Royal Geographical Society for the event.

At the conference, veterinarians, researchers, elite riders and animal-care specialists from Europe, Asia and the United States discussed the latest research into horse behaviour and wellbeing. While international specialists had shared their wise thoughts with the attendees, Zara’s comments during the discussion also held weight, signifying that she could be a valuable asset to her uncle Charles’s reign.

She spoke about the well-being of the stallions and how it is important it is to take the animal’s perspective into consideration as well.

“I think seeing through their [horses’] eyes is all about partnership,” Zara said. “It’s feeling them every day and how different they come out, being receptive to that and working with that.”

The update comes as the King officially cut off his disgraced brother Andrew from the royal family. While the Palace had already been short on working royals after the exit of Prince Harry and Meghan, there have been discussions about bringing on some loyal members of the family especially after they suffered a setback in 2023 with the cancer of the monarch and Princess Kate.

Prince George, the 12-year-old son of William and Kate, is slowly being prepared for royal duties. It is possible that Zara could also be taking up something more prominently.
