Meghan Markle shared her feelings on Prince Harry's emotional request, causing major differences between the two.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who left the royal family in 2020, have been celebrating festive events in their Montecito mansion alongside their little family, Archie and Lilibet.
However, this year's annual Christmas gathering in Sandringham might see Harry following his meeting with King Charles at Clarence House in September, raising the chances of a special royal invite.
The 41-year-old royal has expressed a desire to mark the occasion in the UK if an invitation is extended, claimed Closer Magazine.
However, Meghan has reportedly declined her husband's offer as she already has a lot on her plate.
The holiday special of her Netflix series, With Love, Meghan is set to premiere on Netflix on December 3.
Her lifestyle brand, As Ever, is coming up with deals to increase sales during festivities. Meghan is returning to acting with Close Personal Friends.
The source said, "Meghan’s still very scarred by all the mud that’s under the bridge and she’s way more focused on what they’ve got going on in America, both work-wise and socially."
"There’s no way she’s willing to break away from the movie she’s currently shooting, that would be career suicide, plus she’s already RSVP’d to a bunch of seasonal get-togethers and she plans to host some gatherings at the house, as well as enjoying special days out and family time with the kids," an insider shared.
Prince Harry, whose heart is not satisfied with the life he has built in America, feels isolated day by day.
But, Meghan is "bored rigid with these conversations about Harry’s family and wishes Harry would show some backbone and put his own family first."
