Komal Rizvi, who recently collaborated with Qurram Hussain of JoSH for the new song ‘Desan Da Raja’, is hard to miss. Having been a part of music initiatives like Pepsi Unplugged and Cornetto Pop Rock, the singer-songwriter was recently honoured for her contributions to music as as an international artiste at the IIFA Awards Gala Dinner, which took place in Dubai.
Aside from receiving the honour, Rizvi participated in a fashion show as well and walked the ramp for Meher and Riddhim’s Elizabeth collection. She wore a classic black rose, lace off-shoulder and high-waist skirt from the collection. The designer duo also showcased pieces from their fall/winter collection, which drew its inspiration from the Elizabethan era, during the IIFA weekend in Madrid.
The singer-songwriter, meanwhile, is also back to music in full force. She’s releasing a new song called ‘Maula’ and has been performing a regular feature on the live music circuit. Just last month, Rizvi delighted the audience in Dubai when she performed at the MTV Undivided gig and belted out some of her most popular tracks such as ‘Daanah Peh Daanah’, ‘Gharoli’, ‘Lambi Judaai’, ‘Lal Meri Path’ and ‘Washmallay’ among others.
