Kris Jenner is opening up about her relationship with her daughters’ contentious exes, including Kanye West, Travis Scott, Tristan Thompson, and Scott Disick.
The Kardashian-Jenner matriarch appeared on the On Purpose with Jay Shetty podcast on Monday, November 17, where she explained why she has an “open door” policy with the fathers of her grandchildren despite their scandals, including infidelity.
“I fall in love with people, have lives and years spent with their partners or their boyfriends or their husbands,” began Jenner, who recently celebrated her 70th birthday with a star-studded bash at Jeff Bezos’s Beverly Hills mansion.
She added, “And I have all these memories and travels and Christmas morning celebrations and birthdays and all the fun, the laughter, the joys, the tears, the babies.”
The momager emphasised that these men are “the fathers of [her] grandchildren,” declaring that she still loves them because “it just doesn’t turn off like that” for her.
Jenner further explained that she doesn’t want her grandchildren to wonder “20 years from now if their grandmother treated their dad poorly.” She also wants to teach her daughters forgiveness, saying, “It’s one of the biggest lessons that I can teach them, to forgive somebody who’s treated you badly and move on.”
Tristan Thompson, the father of Khloe Kardashian’s two children, even attended Kris’s recent birthday bash, even though he’s admitted to cheating on Khloe. Jenner explained that Tristan feels comfortable enough to drop by and call her “mom,” adding that “they’re always around and we embrace them.”
Jenner also opened up about her relationship with Kylie’s ex, Travis Scott. “I’m close to Travis and I love his mom and his dad and his sister and his brother. They’re family to us and we share celebrations together,” she said.
Recently, the mom-of-six was even spotted in Kanye West’s new documentary, In Whose Name? where she is seen trying to calm down an upset Ye and reassure him that she has always cared about him.
