Princess Eugenie made a graceful return to London’s social circuit this week and bringing her party girl flair with her.
Trading royal headlines for runway worthy glamour at the launch of PHILIPPA1970’s exclusive pop up event.
The stylish soirée, hosted by the brand’s founders Sassa de Osma and Pablo Galán, turned one of the city’s most iconic venues into a dazzling celebration of fashion, friendship, and festive spirit.
It marked Eugenie’s first public appearance since her father, Prince Andrew, was formally stripped of his titles and honours.
Yet at the elegant dinner, held at the famed West London hotspot Julie’s, she appeared relaxed and radiant, taking the opportunity to support her longtime friend Sassa, Princess Christian of Hanover.
Between laughter, clinking glasses, and candlelight, King Charles' niece reminded everyone that resilience much like style is best worn with grace.
The evening itself was a masterclass in sophistication. Guests dined at tables dressed in crisp white linens, surrounded by soft pink blooms, glowing candles, and golden lamps that bathed the room in warmth.
PHILIPPA1970’s signature Spanish craftsmanship was on full display, with many attendees including Eugenie wearing pieces from the brand’s latest collection.
Sassa de Osma, who also serves as the label’s ambassador, stunned in one of its most iconic dress, proof of why PHILIPPA1970 has earned fans like Queen Letizia, Tamara Falcó, and Gossip Girl star Kelly Rutherford.
Among the glittering guest list were Lady Marina Windsor, Theodora Chandris, Debbie Bismarck, Leila Kashanipour, Jennifer Chamandi, and Nina Litchfield each showcasing their own take on the brand’s refined aesthetic.
Despite the absence of co-founder Jorge Vázquez, the evening’s energy was high, with Sassa reflecting proudly on her creative journey, “It was very easy for us to come together, for things to flow, and for me to believe in the project.
I did from day one and now I have a very clear vision of what we want to do with the brand, and I love it.”
