Prince William and Kate Middleton diverted attention from the shameful Andrew scandal with a key move.
The Prince and Princess of Wales moved to their 'forever home,' Forest Lodge, earlier than planned.
Now, a PR expert claimed that the future King and Queen followed the Palace's instruction to shift the focus of the public from controversies to the intimate life update.
In conversation with the Mirror, Dermot McNamara told the Mirror, "Whenever there’s a royal scandal, you can almost guarantee a new house, a new charity initiative, or a glossy family photo to follow soon after."
As per the expert, King Charles' allies, William and Kate, must have been instructed by the Palace's officials to use the "oldest tricks in the crisis comms playbook."
Dermot said, "When the headlines turn messy, always shift the focus to something wholesome."
He stated that William and Kate have been loved by the royal family's fans. They keep a keen interest in their day-to-day activities, like moving home, supporting causes, and walking the kids to school.
"While the Waleses were always planning this move, the timing of when it’s shared with the public is entirely at the Palace’s discretion. We only know the details when they want us to," Dermot added.
