King Charles shuts Palace doors on Beatrice, Eugenie? 'It's not a hotel'

King Charles has reportedly expressed his frustration to his pals about the treatment the Palace has been receiving from the extended family members.

Since banishing Andrew and Fergie, the monarch sent a clear message to their daughters and his nieces, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, that they need to "stand on their own two feet", especially amid financial cutting.

According to the Mail, royal author Robert Jobson claimed in his new book The Windsor Legacy that the King is trying his best to "make changes that he hopes will keep the monarchy fit for generations to come" in his reign.

After arranging an alternative private accommodation for his disgraced brother Andrew, it appears that the monarch is shutting the doors of the Palace on non-working members of the firm, which also includes the York sisters.

The head of the royal family has been making sure that no other member relies on royal residences as "subsidised accommodation."

It has been reported that King Charles believes the Palace is "being run like a hotel, and not a very good one."

"Over time, that is all going to change. Properties will be let at commercial rates going forward, and to people outside the family. Where it is in a Palace environment, they will, of course, be security vetted. The King isn’t running a housing association for distant relatives," an insider shared.

Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie's royal future may be at risk due to their parents' departure from the family.

However, both the Princesses have been married to stable spouses and have their own careers, which means they can rely on themselves.
