Michael J. Fox’s family has a joyful new milestone to celebrate. His eldest child with wife Tracy Pollan, son Sam Fox, quietly tied the knot with partner Molly Milstein last month in New York.
The couple confirmed the happy news on Nov. 6, sharing photos from their intimate celebration on Instagram.
Molly posted a carousel of snapshots with the simple caption, “A month before.”
The snaps show the bride wearing a chic white blazer and mini-skirt set, while 36-year-old Sam opted for a dark suit.
In one moment, the two stand beneath a minimalist chuppah held up by loved ones as they sign their marriage contract.
Milstein's Instagram account is private.
Although Michael was not pictured, Tracy, along with the couple’s twin daughters Aquinnah and Schuyler, 30, and their youngest, Esmé, 24, appeared in several family photos from the day.
Sam proposed in February 2024, announcing the engagement with a snowy selfie showcasing Molly’s ring. He captioned the post, “LFG!!” Since then, the couple had been planning their ceremony.
Outside of his personal life, Sam has followed his father into the entertainment world and is building a career as a film producer with credits including Good Grief and Dead Boy Detectives.
Michael, who has lived with Parkinson’s since 1991, stepped back from acting in 2020, telling AARP Magazine he “couldn't act comfortably at all anymore.”
Still, he hasn’t fully closed that chapter. He is set to appear in Season 3 of Apple TV+’s Shrinking, where Harrison Ford’s character Paul navigates Parkinson’s.
Ford has praised Fox’s presence on set, calling him “very smart, very brave, noble, generous, passionate guy, and an example to all of us, whether we’re facing Parkinson’s or not.”
He added, “Michael’s courage, his fortitude and his grace, more than anything else, is on full display.”
He shared that Fox offers both inspiration and insight as he portrays a character facing similar challenges, “He gives me both a physical representation of the disease to inform myself with, but more than that, he allows me to believe that Paul could believe that he could be adequate to the challenge.”
With Sam and Molly officially married, it’s a sweet new chapter for the Fox-Pollan family, one celebrated quietly, surrounded by the people closest to them.
