Prince William, Princess Kate move into Forest Lodge earlier than expected

Prince William and Princess Kate, along with their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, decided to move up their shifting date as they finally settle into their ‘forever home’.

The Prince and Princess of Wales were initially expected to move out of their Adelaide Cottage near Christmas, but the renovation work was completed ahead of schedule, allowing them to make a change in their plans.

The family’s belongings were gradually moved into the property and security measures were in place, cordoning off a large surrounding area.

Previously, DailyMail’s Rebecca English had disclosed that the Waleses will be moving in Forest Lodge by November 5.

Now, The Telegraph on Saturday, November 1, revealed that the Wales family has officially relocated and are settling into their new digs, albeit a little earlier than expected.

The timing seems to sit well with Prince William, who will be travelling to Rio De Janeiro for the Earthshot Prize ceremony this week. It would also give him some peace of mind knowing that his family has been safely settled in before he heads off for important work.

It is unconfirmed if the recent furore surrounding his uncle Andrew – his fall from grace, losing the ‘prince’ title and officially been announced to vacate Royal Lodge – had something to do with the early move. Although, for a brief time, the Waleses will be neighbours to the shamed royal member as Forest Lodge is less than 1.5 miles apart from Royal Lodge.

However, a source told the outlet that they simply just needed to “get out” of Adelaide Cottage and start again.
