Prince Andrew's youngest daughter Princess Eugenie rescued herself from controversies surrounding her parents, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson.
Eugenie took much-needed break to protect her psychological well-being as the inevitable crisis hit her family badly.
A friend of Princess York revealed the truth about 35-year-old's surprising move, saying: "Eugenie seeks solace in the City of Love, prioritising her mental sanctuary amidst the turmoil engulfing her parents Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson family."
"It's a therapeutic escape from family turmoil," they claimed.
"She can not pretend to be unbothered and unaffected by her family crisis," according to her pal.
Earlier, Eugenie posed photos alongside two of her friends standing on a bridge above the River Seine with the Eiffel Tower in the background. She appeared in high spirits, giving an impression as all is good at the Palace.
Meanwhile, her eldest sister Beatrice reportedly jetted off to Saudi Arabia to attend the Future Investment Initiative event in Riyadh.
It comes amid rumours that the Prince of Wales requested her and Beatrice help persuade their father Andrew to leave Royal Lodge. However, the report was quickly quashed when a source close to William issued a clarification.
The Palace insider categorically denied report that future king William threatened to remove his cousins' titles if Andrew defied order to vacate the lavish Windsor property.
There were also reports that the monarch assured his nieces that their living situation will not change, and the royal sisters respective accommodations at St James’s Palace and Kensington Palace remain secure.
Royal sources have indicated that the Palace understands the importance of protecting Andrew’s daughter’s interests whilst securing his relocation.
