Prince Andrew seems to be grasping at straws after the humiliating blow he received from his brother King Charles and nephew Prince William.
The disgraced royal was forced relinquish the use of his royal titles and honours in a statement released via Buckingham Palace.
It stated the decision came after a discussion with the King and his “immediate and wider family” – which included Prince William as confirmed by reports but did not mention in that statement. He cited that the move was made as allegations against him “distract” from the work of the royal family.
Andrew’s banner has also been removed from Windsor and now there are “advanced talks” taking place to finally oust him from the 30-room mansion Royal Lodge as pressure against him continues to build from all sides.
In a desperate attempt to salvage some favour with his monarch brother, Andrew is using his estranged nephew as an example, vowing to never make the one mistake Prince Harry made.
Sources revealed to The Sun on Sunday that as the Royal Lodge eviction looms, there are fears that the former Duke of York would “go rogue” and spill royal secrets in bombshell book.
The source said that Andrew “won’t write a book like Spare” after his exit, what is being dubbed as the “York-xit”. They added. “He has promised the King.”
While the book is expected to be about “life lessons” after her cancer diagnoses and becoming a grandmother, a close friend said that she “couldn’t write a book without (Andrew) being in it”.
The tell-all book is a sour subject for the royal family as that Prince Harry’s Spare reportedly led to the eviction of the Sussexes from their Frogmore Cottage in 2023.
